Blogthings: What kind of American English do you speak?

Brought to my attention by my cousin, Aaron (who, incidentally, scored 80/10/5/5/0):

Your Linguistic Profile:

65% General American English

20% Yankee

10% Upper Midwestern

5% Dixie

0% Midwestern

I grew up in San Jose.

Den agen, linguists tend not tink I hab a natib language (Tagalog is da language op my moder, but I am not nearly as propishent in it as in English).

Haha, yeah. I know I don't speak English as well as I used to before I started studying linguistics! Also, I've worked a lot on the dialect survey from which (I'm 99% sure) the questions on that quiz were taken, so I'm basically willing to accept any regional variant, particularly those that sound cool. It's often hard for me to remember what I say natively!

75/15/5/5/0: born and raised in Sonoma, California. One quibble, I used to call an easy class a Mick back in the day.
