News flash
Okay, so I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but in case you had any lingering doubt: philology is the only true science. Uhhhhh, yeeeaaaahhhh.... That's the first and last time I am going to reference anything pertaining to the gigantic conflagration involving Michael Witzel, a lot of angry Hindus, and California 6th grade history textbook edits. It's eaten up BDSCW's collective lives recently (for reasons that actually still sort of elude us), and we are totally sick of it.
Meanwhile, in the Realm of Reality, I am two-- count them, TWO!-- chapters away from being done with my thesis. (Yes, it *is* longer than two chapters total, okay?)
Also, new semester, yaaay! I'm taking field methods and From IE to Old Irish, and I'll be sitting in on Tocharian and the grad seminar on syntax.
