Public Service Announcement
The hard drive on my Powerbook failed (though thankfully my thesis remained unharmed), so I am living on borrowed computer time for a while. Intel MacBook Pro, here we come! Yay for excuses to spend $2500 of daddy's money! I've already placed my pre-order, and I'm expecting to get that bad boy February 16-ish. In the meantime, if my internet presence is scarce, you know why.

This seems to occur all the time - exactly the same thing happened to me recently. Only difference: I had no such luck with my thesis. Good luck!
