Is your accent real, or are Jafaican it?

Apparently, kids in London are now talking like Ali G. While the self-designation for the dialect seems to be "Jafaican," the article claims that "the academics prefer 'multicultural English.'" Really? Not the most descriptive term for identifying a particular dialect, is it?
